The article discusses the implementation of “UTOPÍAS” (Units of Transformation and Organization for Inclusion and Social Harmony) in Mexico City as the first step towards achieving the “15-Minute City” concept. This urban planning model, already adopted by cities like Paris, Vienna, and Melbourne, focuses on creating accessible services within a 15-minute radius to enhance city livability. Despite challenges, especially in a city as complex as Mexico City, the initiative aims to decentralize services and improve quality of life through strategic urban regeneration.
